Mr. Odell Henry Ryals, 76, died Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at a Mobile hospital after an extended illness. He was a native and long-time resident of Castleberry and had lived in Chicago for a short time. He was a retired mechanic with Poole Truck Lines and attended the Oak Grove Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Ryals.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Laura Ryals of Castleberry; a son, Jimmy Ryals of Castleberry; two daughters, Linda Sue Partin of Repton and Debra Ann Pugh of Brewton; one brother, James Hurston Ryals of Prattville; two sisters, Heromine Nichols of Montgomery and Carolyn Frazenbacker of Florida; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Holiness Church with Rev. David Baggett officiating. Burial followed at Ramah Cemetery in Lenox with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
