Mr. Fred Lee Ball Sr., 68, died in Oxnard, Calif. where he had been residing for the past 10 years. He was a native of Brewton and a member of Community Bible Mission C.O.G.I.C. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillie D. Hall and Frank Kennedy and a sister, Viola Sutton.
He is survived by a son, Sammie Ball of Oxnard, Calif.; a daughter Patricia Lane of Brewton, sisters, Lillie Pearl Lewis, Frankie Kennedy-Brown, Dolores Kennedy Hopkins, Leola Robinson and Fatima Kennedy-Garrison several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at Second Bethlehem Baptist Church with Elder Sammie Ball officiating. Burial followed at Second Bethlehem Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
