Frances L. "Rena" Irwin, 75, died Sunday, March 21, 2004. She was a native of Brewton, the daughter of Gussie McKinnon Fuqua and Martha Katherine Bush Fuqua, and a resident of Lexington. She was a member of Lexington Church of Christ and the owner/broker of Irwin Real Estate. She served on the Farm Bureau Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the Round Hill Community Club. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Billy F. Irwin of Lexington; two sons, Edward F. Irwin of Columbia, S.C. and Mark Irwin of Lexington; a sister, Beatrice Cook of Walnut Hill, Fla. three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at the Lexington Church of Christ on Ball Park Road with Minister Allen Close officiating. Burial will follow at Woodridge Memorial Park with Thompson Funeral Home directing.
