Mr. Russell Hall, 91, died Sunday, March 21, 2004 in a local hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Atmore and owned and operated Hall's Grocery Store in Freemanville for 26 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Hall of Atmore; a son, Alan Russell Hall of Irvington; a daughter, Judy McCall of McDavid; two step-daughters, Elizabeth Jett of Mobile and Ann Windham of Tuscaloosa; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 23, at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip James officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were David Mothershed, Cory Mothershed, Chris Hall, Jimmy Hemmert, Scotty Flowers and Randy Reynolds.
