Mrs. Ruby Boatwright, 91, died Thursday, March 26, 2004 in a local nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Brooklyn and a life long resident of Escambia County, Ala. She attended Calvary Mennonite Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sisters, Agnes Coleman of Robertsdale and Lillian Wells of Seminole; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 27, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. John Gehman officiating. Burial followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
