Mrs. Jewell Moore Mallory died Tuesday, March 30, 2004 in a local health and rehabilitation facility. She was a native of Coffee County and had lived in Brundidge for most of her life. She was a member of the Salem Baptist Church in Brundidge where she served as secretary of the church for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover R. Mallory.
She is survived by one son, Jerome Mallory of Andalusia; a sister, Onie M. Dawson of Brewton; two brothers, Fred Moore of Elba and Robert C. Moore of New Orleans, La.; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 2, at 11 a.m. at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Hood officiating. Burial followed at Lakeview Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.
