Mr. Chason Shavar Godbolt, 17, died Saturday, April 3, 2004 as a result of a vehicle accident. He was a native of Dallas, Texas and was a resident of Brewton. He had attended Antioch Baptist Church in Dallas.
He is survived by his mother and father, Deborah and Willie Fred Godbolt; a sister, Amber Lasha Godbolt; grandmothers, Elouise Godbolt Square and Eulean White; many friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 9, at 1 p.m. at W.S. Neal High School Auditorium with Rev. Danny Benjamin and Elder Herman Bradley officiating. Burial followed at Second Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery on Hwy. 29.
