Mrs. Gladys Spivey Harrington, 78, died Sunday, April 11, 2004 in a Mobile hospital. She was a native of Covington County and had been a resident of Mobile for 45 years, coming from Pensacola. She was of the Methodist faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Harrington.
She is survived by a son, Charles Harrington of Mobile; one brother and three sisters.
Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, April 13, at 1:30 p.m. at May Creek Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Mobile or Casa Mobile, a children's advocacy group.
