Ready for 4-H Mini Roundup

Four-H-ers from all around the county are getting geared up for the annual 4-H Mini Roundup. This big event will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 24 at the Agricultural Science Building (behind Southern Pine Electric Cooperative on Highway 31 near the Stockyard) in Brewton.
Four-H-ers and youth will compete in award-winning programs including the Baked Foods Exhibit, Beef Cook-Off, Electric Demonstration, Public Speaking and Performing Arts (Talent) Contest.
Other programs such as the Design -A- T-shirt Contest, Dairy Poster Contest, Photography and Woodworking exhibits have been pre-judged and will also be on exhibit for you to see.
Please come and enjoy the fun, the fellowship and observe Escambia County 4-H-ers and youth performing at their best. I can guarantee you will have a great time.

4-H Summer Camp Slated for June 14, 15 and 16
It's time to make plans for 4-H Summer Camp 2004 at the 4-H Youth Development Center in Shelby County.
The camp is located in a rustic setting on beautiful Lay Lake, seven miles east of Columbiana and 35 miles south of Birmingham. It has all the modern conveniences of home and more.
