Mr. Thomas Holladay Conover, 90, died Sunday, April 18, 2004 in a local healthcare facility. He was a native of Columbia, Ken. and had been a resident of Brewton for the past 54 years. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the U.S. Army. He managed Jernigan's Home Furnishings and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Brewton.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jernigan Conover of Brewton, a daughter, Mary Lillian Neese and two grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at Union Cemetery Tuesday, April 20, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gary Daniel officiating and Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Joe Sowell, Ben Kelly Strain, Lee Bain, Ed Jernigan Jr., Milton Wilson, Dr. Bob Low, Ed Andrews and C.J. Hogan. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Brewton.
