Barnes Flournoy Lovelace III

Mr. Barnes Flournoy Lovelace III, 20, of Decatur died Sunday, April 25, 2004 as a result of a vehicle accident. He was a native of Decatur and a 2002 graduate of Decatur High School. He attended Auburn University where he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity. He was employed at Stovepipe Wells Resort in Death Valley, Calif. at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Barnes F. Flournoy of Brewton.
He is survived by his mother, Amanda Harris Lovelace of Decatur; his father, Barney Lovelace and his wife, Amy, of Decatur; a brother, Wiley Harris Lovelace of Decatur and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Harris of Decatur.
Visitation will be for two hours before the funeral at the church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 29, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Asa Boozer and Rev. Doug Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Decatur City Cemetery with Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Robert Norman, Adam Blake, Bob Blackburn, Whit Blackburn, Cole Hudgins, Garrett Pierce, Will Middleton and Brad Lawrence.
