The Escambia County Commission addressed two items of business at its meeting Monday.
First on the agenda was the passage of a policy to set up guidelines for "comp" time for county employees.
In other business, the commission voted to approve lowering the speed limit on Jackson Lane -- a road off of County Road 25 in the McCall community -- to 20 miles per hour.
Also at the meeting, county resident Bill Haley reminded the commission of the need for road work off of Nelson Loop Road on Moody Lane.
At its last meeting, the commission agreed that Moody Lane would be graded in the near future.
