At its meeting Monday night, the East Brewton City Council appointed Danny Howard to the East Brewton Water Board in a 3-1 vote.
Howard, supervisor for the City of Brewton Street and Sanitation Department, will fill the position vacated by the recent resignation of Robert Knowles.
Other East Brewton Water Board members are Steve Dunaway, Joey Shell, Michael Goolsby and Gloria Dyals.
