Mr. Loyd Holt, 72, of Keego Road, died suddenly Tuesday, April 27, 2004 in a local hospital. He was a native of Ennis, Texas and a former resident of Mobile before moving to Brewton 11 years ago. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for three years and was a retired finance manager from First Family Financial Services. He attended Brewton First Baptist Church of Brewton.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Holt of Brewton; three sons, Grady Holt and Billy Holt, both of Saraland and Loyd Stacey Holt of Mobile; two step-sons, Phillip Collins and Tim Collins, both of Brewton; one step-daughter, Dena Ogletree of Dothan; five grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 29, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. John Finklea officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
