Brewton Public Library is having its semiannual book sale beginning Monday, May 3. This is a way the library eliminates older books, books that haven't been read lately or those where there are multiple copies.
The sale originated several years ago at the library. It has been a very successful way to raise money with which to buy new books and library materials.
The library accepts book donations also.
Almost everyone has books that are sitting on shelves somewhere not being read. This is a good opportunity to give them to a worthy cause.
The library will have the books on sale each day from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
