Mr. Norman Langford, 80, died Friday, April 23, 2004 in a Pensacola, Fla. hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Castleberry and a former resident of Monroeville before moving to Brewton in 1964. He was a retired salesman with Hainje's Home Furnishers and was a member of the Catawba Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel Stone Langford of Brewton; two sons, Gary Langford and Jonathan Langford, both of Brewton; a daughter, Wanda Hamill of Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Colton Langford of Atmore; two sisters, Mabel Land of Cairo, Ga. and Dorothy Prince of Jackson, Tenn. and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 28, at 11 a.m. at Catawba Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Colton Langford officiating. Burial followed at Catawba Springs Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
