The East Brewton City Council voted Monday to accept a $40,000 loan at an interest rate of 3.75 percent. The money will be used to finish the city's baseball complex.
In other business, Mayor Terry Clark commended council member Bettie Jordan for her work in outfitting the East Brewton City Hall and welcome signs with flowers.
