The Brewton Public Library's Vacation Reading Program 2004 will be held from May 27- July 22 on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Children's Room of the library.
Kids of all ages will "step to the beat…Read!" with plenty of fun and activities planned that link music, dancing and reading.
The goal of the program is to encourage children to read for pleasure at times when they are not in school. The Brewton Public Library offers special programs and incentives to encourage children of all ages, from infants to teens, to read what they enjoy and to read often. Parents, grandparents and other caregivers are invited to participate and to help pre-literate children enjoy books and develop a love of reading. For more information call the library at 867-4626.
