Mrs. Daisy Belle Rolin, 58, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at a local hospital. She was a native of Atmore and a resident of Poarch. She was a member of the Poarch Creek Indians, a waitress for various restaurants, a health care provider and a previous business owner.
She is survived by three sons, Charles Gregson and Eddie Gregson, both of Pensacola, Fla. and Timothy Gregson of Jackson, Ala.; four daughters, Sherry Phillips of Booneville, Dinah Nobles and Melanie Gregson, both of Poarch and Robin Gregson of Pensacola; three brothers, Thomas McGhee, Fields McGhee and Ed Rolin, all of Atmore; a sister, Letha McGhee of Pensacola; 24 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 5, at 11 a.m. at Friendly Holiness Church with Rev. Dale Flynn officiating. Burial followed at New Home Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Michael Gregson, Bryan Gregson, Aaron Gregson, Jerry Sanchez, Steven Gregson, Corey Gregson, Anthony Phillips and David Rolin. Honorary pallbearers were Stephanie Sanchez, Francheska Gregson, Brittany Gregson, Brandy Gregson, Oliver Cardwell, Shannon McGhee, Kenneth McGhee and Nathan McGhee.
