Visitors to this year's Alabama Blueberry Festival will be able to take advantage of shuttle service to and from the event, which is being held on the campus of Jefferson Davis Community College (JDCC).
The shuttle service will run from the Alco Plaza shopping center where Subway is located to the campus. There will be a pair of buses running continuously from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Visitors can park in the shopping center's lot, then ride up the hill to the college and the day's festivities.
The shuttle plan has been implemented to add convenience, and also to provide additional parking in the event it is needed.
Soggy weather conditions if they dont let up in time could result in parts of the JDCC campus being placed off-limits to festival-goers vehicles.
