Mrs. Eloise White Knowles, 87, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004 in Flomaton. She was a native and long time resident of Flomaton. She attended the Allen Smith Holiness Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Knowles; a daughter, Mildred Emmons and three great-grandsons.
She is survived by a son, Billy Joe Knowles of Flomaton; two daughters, Melva Lou Howell of Flomaton and Myrtice Carnley of Brewton; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 17 at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. David Baggett and Bro. Donnie Bowman officiating. Burial followed at Lambeth-Boutwell Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Paul Howell, Wendell Carnley, Kevin Knowles, Kenny Emmons, Ed Wright and Will Chavers.
