Mrs. Mildred Dean Killam, 76, died Monday, June 21, 2004 at her home. She was employed by Old Alger Sullivan Lumber Company in Century, Daniels Insurance Agency in Flomaton and Atmore, D.J. Bondurant Lumber Company and co-owner of Killam's Bait and Tackle Shop in Flomaton where she retired. She was a member of Saint Bellarmine Catholic Church in Atmore. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Willard F. Killam and her brothers, Hunter Dean and Kimble Dean.
She is survived by two daughters, Jan Killam of Flomaton and Patty Killam of Milton; a son, Mike Killam of Crestview, Fla.; special adoptive daughter, Linda Andrews of Flomaton; two brothers, Erston Dean of Pensacola, Fla. and Judson Dean of Flomaton; one sister, Myrtice Acuff of Flomaton and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 23, from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 24, at 3 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home with Rev. Jan Zagorski officiating. Burial will follow at Flomaton Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Billy Kelly, Larry White, Ben White, Ronnie Hammond, Thomas Agee and Dewey Bondurant Jr.
