The Brewton Church of Christ Youth Program and Steve Lambert organized a canoe trip June 11-13, 2004 on Murder Creek from Castleberry to Fort Crawford in East Brewton. Steve Lambert has been taking church groups down Murder Creek, Big Escambia Creek and the Sepulga River for the last eight years.
The trip afforded the group the chance to have fun while doing some cleaning of the sandbars along the way. They pulled together to get over the rough spots and learned to pull together to accomplish their goal.
