Ms. Rosa Mary Jones, 44, died Friday, June 18, 2004 in a nursing facility in Plaquemine, La. She was a native of Flomaton and a resident of Atmore for many years. She was a member of Jones Street Holiness Church and was preceded in death by her father, Willie Jones.
She is survived by mother, Rosie Lee Jones of Atmore; two daughters, Shawnita Jones of Atmore and Regina Jones of Philadelphia, Penn.; three sons, Lajuan E. Morrison of Philadelphia and Byron R. Morrison and Raul Malabet, both of Atmore; five sisters, Ollie Mae Jones, Claretha Jones, Ella Jones and Martesha Jones, all of Atmore and Allie Mae Jones of Frisco City; seven brothers, Erby Lee Jones, John Lee Jones, Donnie Jones, Kenny Ray Jones and Joe Jones, all of Atmore, Frank Jones of Hattiesburg, Miss. and Albert Jones of Philadelphia; four grandchildren and a companion Dennis Malabet of Atmore.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 26, at 11 a.m. at Jones Street Holiness Church with Bishop Willie L. Williams officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
