Jamnital Lanay Brazile, 19, died Sunday, June 20, 2004. She was a native and life-long resident of Brewton. She was a member of Second Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was a 2002 graduate of W.S. Neal High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society and the Color Guard. She was a student at Jefferson Davis Community College and had planned to attend Troy State University.
She is survived by her father, Verlon Samuel of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a sister, Vania Samuel of Daytona Beach; her grandmothers, Annie Bell Carter of Brewton and Sallie McCorvey of Pensacola; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Roche and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 26 at 2 p.m. at Second Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. D.L. Nettles officiating and Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
