Mr. Clifford Bernard Cooks, 17, died suddenly Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004. He was a native of Escambia County, Ala. and a resident of Atmore. He attended Escambia County High School and was a member of the football team. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo Tucker and Margaret Tucker and Willie Cooks Sr. and Rose Mae Cooks.
He is survived by his father, Willie Cooks Jr. of Bay Minette; his mother, Anita Cooks of Atmore; one sister, Ameisha Cooks of Atmore; one stepsister, Kayland Lamar of Bay Minette; one brother, Andrian Tucker of Pensacola, Fla.; one stepbrother, Keyland Lamar of Bay Minette and his stepfather, Derrick Robinson of Atmore.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 4 p.m. at Escambia County High School with Bishop Bernard Bishop officiating. Burial followed at Stallworth Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
