Mr. Kenneth Dale Calhoun, 66, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004 at a local hospital. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Dixonville and had served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Ammon, Norman, Corbet Cecil and Fred and sisters, Wilma Jean and Bernell.
He is survived by his son, John Ira Calhoun of Clarksville, Fla.; a daughter, Anna Michell Calhoun of Clarksville; brothers, Norvie Calhoun of Dixonville, Maxwell Calhoun of Milton, Fla. and John Calhoun of Jay Road; sisters, Winnie McCurdy and Betty Calhoun, both of Dixonville and many other relatives.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 20 at the Community of Christ Church in Dixonville with the Rev. Jesse Rheam and Elder John C. Calhoun officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Jay Funeral Home directing.
