That's the message Mitzi Whittle delivered to those gathered last week in support of the 2005 fundraising drive for United Fund of Brewton and East Brewton.
Whittle, who works with Kid One, said the program provides free transportation to those who need medical treatment but do not have the means to get their children to the doctors who can treat them.
Kid One is among the 15 agencies that will benefit from the $90,000 United Fund hopes to raise for 2005. United Fund asks citizens to contribute the equivalent of one hour's wages each month to local charities. Donations may be mailed to United Fund of Brewton and East Brewton, P.O.
