Mrs. Lily Corinne Smith, 84, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, at a local hospital after a brief illness. She was a native and long time resident of Brewton and a former resident of Pensacola, Fla., before moving to Atmore. She was of the Episcopal faith and a retired cost accountant from Monsanto with 28 years of service.
She is survived by a son, Harry C. (Janet) Smith of Atmore; a daughter, Corinne Lamont of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Darren Meehan, Amy Meehan, Jonathan Smith and Jamie Elizabeth Talley and one great-grandchild, Caitlyn Grace Talley.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Jan. 8, at 11:30 a.m. at Union Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
