Mr. Bruce E. Smith, 68, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005. He was a native of Wallace and a former resident of Brewton, AL. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was a 32nd Degree Mason of the Jewel P. Lightfoot Lodge in Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Flemmon, grandson Shane Thomas Stacks, and nephew Michael Smith.
He is survived by his wife: Linda Smith of Rockwall; his sons, Bruce Jr. (Brenda) Smith of Quinlan, Texas, and Roy (Lisa) Smith of Rowlett, Texas; his daughters, Theda (Lonnie) Stacks of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Shari Smith of Kennedale, Texas; a brother, Mack (Mildred) Smith of Brewton; a sister: Jeanette Mussell of Pensacola, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Cody, Lindsay, Bruce III, Kris, Chelsey, Michael, Sadie, Thomas and Emari; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 17, at 10 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rowlett Chapel. Interment will be in Cash, Texas with Rest Haven Funeral Home directing
