J. Daniel Raulerson, M.D., will open a private practice in Brewton within the upcoming week, with offices to be located in the Kidney Dialysis Clinic on Belleville Avenue.
Charles Kuralt, host of "On the Road with Charles Kuralt," spent the night in Brewton this week. He was in the area to interview Lewis B. Roberston of Flomaton.
The majority of Escambia County voters, like other voters in Alabama, cast their votes for President Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan in Tuesday's presidential preference primary.
W.S. Neal High School officials have named students as representatives to Boys State and Girls State, as well as Good Citizenship Boy and DAR Girl. Chuck Hilton Nichols and Gordon Scott Batson will attend Boys State; Jennifer Brooks will attend Girls State; Desiree Sutton has been named DAR Good Citizen and Michael Caro received the citizenship award.
