Mrs. Ellen Elaine Edwards, 96, died Sunday, April 24, 2005, at her residence. She was a native of Conecuh County and a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Albert Edwards of Mountain View, Ark.; three daughters, Irene Kicker of Repton, Agnes Cain of Range, and Jean Harter of Lennox; a brother, Travis Baggett of Atmore; sisters, Francis Salter and Helen Salter, both of Castleberry; eight grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 26, at 10 a.m. at Hartwood Church with the Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Burial followed at Hartwood Cemetery with Cope Funeral Home directing.
