Alan Baker concluded his 27th and final year of coaching this spring. Twenty-one of those years were spent at his his high school alma mater, T.R. Miller. Baker was an assistant football coach for all 21 of those years and head track coach for 20 seasons. He also had stints in the basketball and baseball programs. Baker was part of 10 state championship teams at T.R. Miller, five in football, four in outdoor track and one in indoor track.
