The Escambia County Commission this week approved the resurfacing of six East Brewton streets. The City of East Brewton will refund the county for the resurfacing work, which is estimated to cost $26,437.
The Brewton Police Department is offering a $25 reward for information leading to the arrest of persons who took two American flags from a lawn display at Jefferson Davis Junior College sometime during the past week. Persons with information may contact Police Chief Glenn Holt.
