Ms. Martha Ann Page German, 59, died June 14, 2005. She was a native of Lowndes County, a former resident of Brewton and a resident of Pensacola. She was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her father, Samaritan Page Sr.; a son, John Edward German and two brothers, Thomas Page and Edgar Page.
She is survived by her mother, Rosetta Page of Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters, Saundra (Gregory) Matthews of Brewton and Melissa (Anthony) Westery of Pensacola; three brothers, Willie (Bernadette) Page of Bronx, N.Y., Samaritan (Mary) Page of Cleveland, Ohio, and Rickey (Brenda) Page of Brewton; three sisters, Linda (Ronald) Johnson of Bronx, N.Y., Carrie Page and Mary Page, both of Cleveland; six grandchildren, Gregory, Matthews, Quincil Matthews, Cathy Matthews and James Matthews, all of Brewton, Antonae Westery and Anthony Westery, both of Pensacola; two special friends, Betty Holmes and Mabel Jerkin, both of Brewton, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 20, at 1 p.m. at Second Saint Siloam Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie J. Blue officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
