Mrs. Minnie Gertrude Barnett Browder, 92, of Ridge Road, died Saturday, June 18, 2005, in a Robertsdale nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Opp and a long time resident of Brewton. She was a member of Ridge Road Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond Browder and Tommy Browder, both of Brewton; two daughters, Helen Baggett and Dot Johns, both of Brewton; one brother, E.C. Barnett of Brewton; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 20, at 2 p.m. at Ridge Road Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Keese officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
