Mrs. Barbara Joseph Graves, died Saturday, June 18, 2005, at her residence in Brewton. She was a native of Pensacola, Fla., where she resided most of her life. She moved to Brewton in 1975 with her late husband, Cecil, after he retired from the Lewis Bear Company. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Cecil, four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by four children, Doug (Judy) Graves, Dorothy (Tommy) Ward, Ronald (Carolyn) Graves, and Regina (Danny) Smith; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and two special care givers, Diane Alford and Elizabeth Payne.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 23, at 11 a.m. at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Tisdale officiating. Burial followed at Pensacola Memorial Garden Cemetery with Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were her nine grandchildren, Randall graves, Glenwood Graves, Brian Graves, Cassie McCaffey, Alan Powell, Chris Graves, Daniel Smith, Phillip Graves and Michael Smith.
