A restaurant staple in the community since the late 1970s, Ole Willie's Place closed its doors to the public this weekend.
The signage was pulled from the building Tuesday afternoon and workers were inside taking everything out of the kitchen and putting it away in a van.
Sandy English said that the building was originally for rent and English Realty decided to put the building up for sale. Had the owner, Sheryl Najor continued in the business, the building was still going to go on the market for sale regardless, English said. The listing can be found under English Realty.
