The Hourglass, an antiques and gift shop in downtown Brewton will close in August, owner Becki Reynolds announced this week.
Reynolds, who will have owned the business one month less than 10 years when she closes it August 13, said the decision was a difficult one.
The Hourglass was among the downtown businesses featured in the July edition of Southern Living.
Reynolds said she plans to liquidate Hourglass merchandise beginning on Monday with a progressive sale.
