Mrs. Lucy Rochelle McLendon Gibson, 93, of Fleming Lane, died Tuesday, July 12, 2005, in a local nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Castleberry and a long time resident of Brooklyn before moving to Brewton in 1992. She was a member of Brooklyn Baptist Church, a member of the Eastern Star and a homemaker.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 14, at 2:30 p.m. at Brooklyn Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Fitts officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
