As of Tuesday evening, funeral arrangements for Marine Cpl. Christopher Winchester had not been completed.
Winchester, a 2000 graduate of Flomaton High School, died last week when his vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb while he was conducting combat operations near Terbil, Iraq.
However, friends and loved ones wanting to send out their condolences to the Winchester family and those who would like to make contributions can visit a Web site for fallen heroes of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The Web site provides information regarding Winchester, links to make contributions to the family and visitors can post messages in memory of Winchester to his family and loved ones left behind.

Winchester was the son of Gail and Greg Williams of Flomaton and Al Winchester of Brewton. He was the
the grandson of Leo and Janell Winchester of Brewton; the late Jim and Ella Ree Smith; Wanda Darby; and Arnie and Pat Williams.
Williams Funeral Home of Brewton will be in charge of funeral arrangements. On Monday, arrangements were expected to be made today, Wed., July 20, or tomorrow.
