Mrs. Roberta Williams, 92, died July 12, 2005. She was a native of Escambia County and resided in Omaha, Neb., for more than 30 years. She returned to Escambia County and was a member of Little Brooklyn Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Q.P. Williams and two sons, Leonard and Dewey.
She is survived by two sons, Willie E. Franklin of Omaha, and Eddie C. Williams of Brewton; a daughter, Judy Swearengen of Omaha; a brother, Robert Allen of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Lessie (Wayne) Harper of Omaha; a sister-in-law, Mae Vella Allen of Brewton; three grandchildren, Alyce Lawson of Mobile, Kenneth Driver of Dallas, Texas, and Trant Swearengen of Omaha; three great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 5, at 11 a.m. at Little Brooklyn Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Gray officiating. Burial followed at Little Escambia Church Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
