Mr. Lawrence Scott "Larry" Hamilton, 48, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2005, in Century. He was a native of Bethesda, Md., and a resident of Century for the past 21 years. He attended the Tabernacle Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Hamilton of Century; his father, Bill Hamilton of Century; his mother, Shirley Hamilton of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; two sons, Larry Hamilton and Jonathan Hamilton, both of Century; two stepsons, Brian Qualls and Shawn Qualls, both of Century; two stepdaughters, Dawn Tharp of Century and Kim Henderson of Molino, Fla.; three brothers, Bill Hamilton Jr. of Calif. and Greg Hamilton and Kevin Hamilton, both of Navarre, Fla., and three stepgrandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 10 a.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Cloud officiating. Burial followed at Crary Memorial Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Jerry Fischer Jr., Travis Brown, John Tharp, Phil Jowers, Rob Cross and Jody Anderson.
