Mr. Daniel Leigh McGougin, 19, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a native and life long resident of Brewton. He worked as a carpenter with J &L Construction and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James M. McGougin Sr. and Mary Inez McGougin.
He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Belinda McGougin of Brewton; three brothers, Carl R. Stinson, Wesley Lamar Stinson and James G. McGougin, all of Brewton; a sister, Holly Murphy of Jackson, Ga.; his grandparents, Lerline Gilmore and Charles Ray Dinkins Sr., both of East Brewton.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard A. Dinkins and the Rev. Reo Pugh officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
