Mrs. Roetta Kennedy Bell, 50, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, in Brewton. She was a native and life long resident of the Brewton area and she was of the Holiness faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Chavers Kennedy.
She is survived by a son, Jeremy Bell of Sanford, Ariz.; a daughter, Savannah Bell of Pensacola, Fla.; her father, Harold Kennedy of Brewton; four brothers, Johnny Ray Graves and Melvin "Mike" Kennedy, both of Frisco City and Harold Eugene "Tommy" Kennedy and Tony Kennedy, both of Brewton; four sisters, Joyce Lambeth of Brewton, Barbara Jay of Uriah, Janice Martin of Pineview and Patsy Gail Hogue of Yakima, Wash.; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 19, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Cardwell, the Rev. Robert Wilson and the Rev. Jessie Bohannon officiating. Burial followed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home
