One of the nationally recognized projects for Woodmen of the World is keeping the spirit of the victims involved in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorists attack in New York and Washington D.C. alive.
On Sunday, a ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. at the downtown City Park located across from Hart Station.
According to Gary Robinson who is affiliated with Woodmen of the World, as a part of the ceremony a flagpole and memorial plaque will be dedicated to the park. The two landmarks will honor and remember the victims involved in the terrorist attacks four years ago, and will keep the memory alive of the victims as well as military fatalities.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony today.
