Mr. Vodia Lathin Davis, 70, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005. He was a lifetime resident of Berrydale and he was retired from the U.S. Army having served during the Korean conflict and Vietnam War.
He is survived by his children, Jeffrey Lathin Davis, Candace Jean Wiseman and Demitri Geneva Davis, all of Texas, Devi (Summer) Davis of Milton, Fla., Vodia Iona Fiorio of Pace, Fla., Bertie Lee Davis of Pensacola, Fla., and Lawson Davis of Berrydale; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 3 p.m. at Jay Funeral Home with full military honors and Jay Funeral Home directing.
