Mr. Edward Wilson, 76, of Wallace Road, died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005, in a local nursing facility after an extended illness. He was a native and life long resident of Brewton, was a retired logger and attended Wildford Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha Burch Wilson of Brewton; two step-sons, Horace Ray (Carrie) Few of Silsbee, Texas, and Ottis Few of Barnett Crossroads; three brothers, Alvin Wilson of Brewton, Robert Wilson of Castleberry, and Carl Wilson of Flomaton; two sisters, Annis Wilson Neese of Molino, Fla., and Allie Wilson Cross of Pace, Fla.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held tonight, Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 22, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Neese officiating. Burial will follow at Cooper Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Robert Wilson Jr., Darryl Wilson, Farron Wilson, Buddy Kimmons, Johnny Ray Few and Ken Few.
