Although Judgement House did not take place in Brewton last year because of Hurricane Ivan, it is ready to kick off again this year.
Two years ago 1,325 people walked through the life-like Judgement House and had the profound experience of seeing just a little bit about the joy of being a Christian or the horrible fate that awaits those who end up turning away from Him.
Judgement House is a true-to-life drama, played out in a series of rooms, which tell the story of the lives of several teenagers who's lives have been cut short through some kind of tragedy. It depicts what happens after death to those who have accepted Christ and those who have rejected Him.
Last year over 300,000 people all over the United States saw Judgement House and lives were changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. This unique alternative to Halloween is being presented Saturday, Oct. 29; Sunday, Oct. 30; Monday, Oct. 31; Saturday, Nov. 5; Sunday, Nov. 6, and Monday, Nov. 7 at First Baptist Church of Brewton beginning at 6 p.m. The presentation takes about an hour and those who have gone through it before give it high praise as a moving experience. Groups of 15 to 20 enter every eight to 10 minutes.
A $2 donation is requested and reservations are highly recommended. For reservations or information, call First Baptist Church at 867-5769.
