Renovation of the city pool behind the Lions Club pavilion was indefinitely postponed this week after the Brewton City Council voted to seek federal recreation funds rather than use city money to repair the pool.
Enrollment figures at the nine Escambia County Schools show a decrease over last year's enrollment, acording to Superintendent Harry L. Weaver.
Escambia County's general and gasoline tax funds face a deficit of nearly $1 million in 1981 because of decreased revenue and increased expenses, county commissioners learned this week.
